As the Healthiest State Initiative was being formed, the organization came to Meyocks for advertising and marketing ideas to introduce the program. We proposed the idea of a statewide walk event — and promoted the efforts, resulting in nearly one in 10 Iowans voting with their feet in favor of the effort. The idea hasn’t lost its stride and is currently strutting into its ninth year.

Visiting with a medical provider via phone, tablet or computer was a new and unfamiliar concept in the marketplace.
