PUBLIC RELATIONS/CONTENT MANAGER

As the Public Relations/Content Manager you would work as part of a team to help Meyocks clients mean more. You would plan and implement earned media programs, generating positive publicity for our clients. You would also help plan and create content for a variety of traditional and digital mediums, including social media posts, newsletter and magazine articles, video scripts, news releases/media advisories, search-optimized website content and other owned media assets.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of public relations and content creation experience required
  • Significant writing/content creation experience in a variety of forms, including working with designers to translate information into graphical form
  • Ability to offer earned media counsel/strategy… and to implement as well
  • Success with pitching story ideas and responding to media inquiries
  • Ability to build relationships and credibility with clients, media contracts and fellow team members
  • Strong deadline focus and a relentless obsession to “get it right”
  • College degree in English, journalism, public relations, or related field
